It is high time we have a non-Shona President for Zimbabwe, a Canada based scholar, Jonas Mandiwisa Musara, states.
Musara who has before called himself 'President Jones Musara' has sworn with his life that MDC leader Welshman Ncube should be elected the future leader of Zimbabwe in the same way US president Barack Obama was catapulted to the presidential seat four years ago, ZimEye reported.
Writes Jones: "…Its high time we have a non-Shona President for Zimbabwe (Welshman Ncube) just as America now has a non-white President (Barack Obama). We are all equal after all and now is the time to walk the talk of equality of all peoples regardless of tribe, faith or station of life.
"Vote Welshman Ncube for next new and fresh President of Zimbabwe who will govern this nation peacefully, democratically, fairly and justly."
Musara joined the Ncube led party a few weeks ago after he had earlier put his own name up for the position of shadow President of Zimbabwe.
The diasporan attracted both negative and supportive comments from fellow Facebookers on the website, on the subject.
He commands a large following on the social networking website, Facebook and his views are supported by writer Sam Ephat Dangarembga.
