Zimbabwe has dangled lucrative tourism opportunities to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Zimbabwean diasporans living in the Middle East amid hope of drawing investments into the tourism industry which is targeting growth in leisure facilities and infrastructure.

Lauded as a low hanging fruit that has huge potential for quick wins in the country's economic resurgence thrust, the tourism industry continues to strengthen its offensive to attract investors to the sector.

Officials from this sector are currently promoting the nations brand at the World Government Meeting Summit in Dubai which ends this Wednesday.

The platform brings together global tourism industry players to critical decision making and business connections that enhance the performance of the sector.

Zimbabwe is riding on this opportunity to spell out its investment position both to the domestic and foreign investor.

In roads into the Arabic market will add another feather on the tourism industry which already is basking in lucrative deals from the world's second largest economy China who have hinted on making a strong statement of Zimbabwean tourism products in the Asian market this year.

Such positive indications will translate into enhanced tourism traffic, meaning more receipts for the industry this year.
