The MDC-N says it will be engaging the principals of the inclusive government and the SADC facilitators to ensure that the court interdict passed by the High Court barring Professor Arthur Mutambara from acting in the capacity of principal on behalf of the formation is fully adhered to.
Ms Priscilla Misihairabwi Mushonga told the state media ZBC News that the party has written to the other two principals who are President Robert Mugabe and Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai.
Mushonga added that they have also written to the SADC facilitators notifying them of the interdict passed by High Court judge, Justice Nicholas Ndou.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Professor Arthur Mutambara faction, Mr. Maxwell Zimuto told reporters that the formation is not in a position to comment on the matter considering that the issue is in the courts.
Professor Arthur Mutambara is yet to respond to the interdict passed by High Court judge, Justice Nicholas Ndou.
The interdict bars Professor Mutambara from exercising duties as MDC President until the High Court makes a ruling on a petition brought by a number of his supporters challenging Ncube's election as party president.
The squabbles are a result of a Congress held in January which elected Ncube.
The Joubert Mudzumwe faction aligned to Professor Mutambara insists that it does not recognise the Congress and its legitimacy.
