Mentally ill woman commits suicide

A Bindura woman who was suffering from some form of mental illness decided to end her life on Friday by drinking termite poison.
Doricah Chimunyu (39) of foothill farm, Bindura committed suicide by drinking a termite poison which she asked her daughter to bring her before sending her away.
Acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Naison Dhliwayo confirmed the case.
"I can confirm a case of sudden death at Foot hill farm, Bindura where Chimunyu committed suicide by drinking termite poison," Dhliwayo said.
Allegations are that Chimunyu asked her minor daughter to bring her termite poison before sending her away.
She drank the poison and died her dead body was discovered by her sister in law who then filed a police report.
Police warned people to be on the look out of sick people and always render assistance when ever they need assistance.
