Chamisa being consulted by SADC leaders

Citizens' Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa has claimed that leaders from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) have been consulting with him to seek his opinions on how to resolve Zimbabwe's current political crisis following the contested general election.
During a CCC provincial council meeting in Chinhoyi, Chamisa emphasized that he had won the presidential election despite intimidation tactics and alleged rigging by Zanu-PF-aligned Forever Associates of Zimbabwe (FAZ). He described the recent election as a "war" rather than a proper election.
Chamisa revealed that he had recently participated in a lengthy video conference call with SADC officials who were seeking his proposals for resolving the political impasse in Zimbabwe, which has resulted from the widely criticized elections.
He stated that the people of Zimbabwe are clear about what they want and that a genuine election should be about allowing people to decide who should lead the country, rather than the chaos witnessed in the recent polls.
CCC has submitted a dossier to SADC and other institutions outlining the path they believe the country should take, and Chamisa expressed optimism that their struggle would ultimately succeed and lead to his inauguration.
He called on CCC supporters to be patient as they work towards challenging President Emmerson Mnangagwa's administration through various processes.
Chamisa also paid tribute to the late Ward 2 Councillor Patricia Chibaya, describing her as a true leader who had the ability to bring people together. Councillor Chibaya passed away after a short illness, and her funeral was scheduled to take place at Chemagamba Cemetery.
