Egyptian businessman nabbed for over staying in Zim

A 31-YEAR-OLD Egyptian national Ragab Mohamed Abdelghafar Mohamed Elkhatib was arraigned before Gweru magistrate after he over stayed in the country.
The magistrate Nixon Mangoti slapped the foreigner with $200 fine failure to pay would earn him two months jail term.
The court heard that on January 24 the foreigner entered the country through Forbes Boarder post and was issued with a 30 day business visit that expired on February 23.
On May 8 the immigration officers approached the convict who was selling his kitchen utensils at Rutendo Primary school in Kwekwe and he failed to produce his passport.
Verifications were made and it was established that he over stayed and they arrested him.
