Mr Ugly pageant returns to Beitbridge

Beauty pageants are big business in Zimbabwe but there is one with a difference.
Men in the border town of Beitbridge will be competing to win the title of Mr. Ugly in May, but in 2011 the organisers are having difficulty convincing men to enter.
The only condition about entering the pageant is that men have to be confident of their ugliness.
There are cash prizes on offer for the man who will be crowned Mr. Ugly as well as his two princes.
Show organiser Lovemore Chonzi told state media that the contest is meant to allow people to have fun and celebrate who they are.
However, not everyone is willing to fight for the less than flattering title.
The last two years have seen an average of 30 men competing. So far in 2011 only six said they will definitely put their faces on the line.
