Mushaninga dies at 48

The National Economic Consultative Forum executive secretary Mr Amos Mushaninga has died. He was 48. Mr Mushaninga who was also the board chairman for State-owned fixed telecommunications operator TelOne died of a heart attack on Monday July 1.
He died while on duty in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania where he was attending an international smart partnership dialogue.
Chief secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr Misheck Sibanda and co-chairpersons of the NECF and the NECF steering committee today sent a message of condolence to the Mushaninga family.
"We wish to convey heartfelt condolence to Mrs B (Barbara) Mushaninga and the Mushaninga family on the untimely death of Mr Amos Mushaninga on the 1st of July 2013," Dr Sibanda said.
He described Mr Mushaninga as an energetic, dynamic and true patriot who had passion for his work and put his country before anything else. "He will be truly missed by all those who interacted with him from the public sector, private sector, academia, labour and civil society," he said
