Zimparks officials hunt escaped lion in Harare

Zimparks has issued a warning to Harare residents after a male adult lion escaped from Lion and Cheetah Park on Friday morning.
Zimparks spokesperson Caroline Washaya-Moyo said: "People around Bolton, Flame Lily, Tongogara, Snake World and other surrounding areas should avoid walking at night and avoid tall grass until the lion, still at large, has been captured."
She also said: "the Zimparks officials will maintain their presence until the male adult lion is captured and restored to its enclosure. One male and two female lions have already been captured."
