A house belonging to the Mujuru family in Ruwa was Thursday morning burnt down by fire.
Unconfirmed reports say fire started when one of the house occupants tried to torch a snake that had been seen in the house.

Fire tenders arrived late at the house and could not save the situation as the fire had already engulfed the thatched house. Some property from the house was recovered.
