The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries has called for Zimbabwe to boost its business infrastructure along the Chinese model.
The delegation is in the country to look for potential areas of investment over the next two days.
Speaking during a visit to the Ministry of Local Government Public Works and National Housing Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries vice president Lin Yi said high-rise buildings tend to cater for more businesses.
"China has got skyscraper buildings which accommodate a number of business institutions on a small piece of land and Zimbabwe must copy that system to cater for the increase in population.
"Zimbabwe has vast opportunities in its agricultural sector and the infrastructure due to good climate conditions but there is needed to utilise the land profitably," she said.
Lin also said de-centralisation would also help in the extension of services countrywide.
"The Government must concentrate on developing infrastructure such as universities, industries, hospitals in the outskirts to benefit the whole country."
She also China provides a ready market for Zimbabwe's fresh produce, which the latter should take advantage of in view of its 'excellent climatic conditions".
