Didymus Mutasa shower praises on Tsvangirai

Former minister, Didymus Mutasa, has showered praises on MDC president Morgan Tsvangirai. He also said he regretted the fact that he distrusted, and was even spiteful of Tsvangirai.

"During the GNU, I was prejudiced against him, I thought he was a puppet and at that time I didn't see anything other than that. But looking at things dispassionately, he was always right on Zanu-PF."

Mutasa added that President Robert Mugabe has to act quickly to resolve the problems in Zanu-PF because the party was now a "big stink".

Tsvangirai said it was heartwarming and remarkable that people like Mutasa now saw Mugabe and Zanu-PF "for what they really are".

Political analyst, Alex Magaisa, said it was critical for leaders of the MDC and the People First movement to engage in coalition talks.
