Chinotimba feels social media jokes have gone overboard

The social media has been the evidence of the information revolution and many have fallen in love with it.
It has however left multitudes of victims some unfairly treated while for others it has been tragic.
Buhera South legislator, Joseph Chinotimba is one such victim of the social media.
Crude jokes have been created with Chinotimba the main player.
While he does not mind people making jokes of him, Chinotimba feels the jokes have gone overboard.
A message has been circulating on social media alleging that Chinotimba died in an accident.
What worries him is that relatives and friends have been affected as they have been phoning him expressing shock.
Chinotimba is however not the only public figure who has been killed, buried and resurrected by the social media.
Recently, social networking sites were filled with condolence messages over the alleged death of musician, Progress Chipfumo.
Oliver Mutukudzi, Leonard Zhakata, Jah Prayzah and Alick Macheso have also been the victims of social media's ruthlessness.
