Mugabe's ally taken ill, been in intensive ICU for the past 3 weeks

Former Finance minister Samuel Mumbengegwi has been admitted into intensive care unit for the past three week over an undisclosed ailment.

Mumbengegwi brother of Former Affairs minister Simbarashe left active politics after losing his Chivi North parliamentary seat in 2008 and became a lecture at the Great Zimbabwe University in Masvingo.

Zanu-PF parliamentary chief whip and Gutu Central MP Lovemore Matuke confirmed Mumbengegwi's ill health yesterday but said he did not have the finer details.
