Tajamuka fools police

Members of radical pressure group Tajamuka /Sesjikile caught police by surprise when they blocked roads and staged a demonstration against president Robert Mugabe near Stanley square in Bulawayo.

The barricaded roads and burnt tyres -forcing Zanu-PF to abort a food programme for the elderly which had been pencilled for Stanley hall.

Traffic had to be diverted as the youths blocked the roads using boulders and tyres before they vanished into Makokoba Township.

Riot police which had been alerted for the demo of the Stanley square deserted.
