Man killed over alleged Masowe leadership wrangle

A Gwanda man believed to have been employed as a conductor at Green Horse Bus Services is said to have been murdered in Gwanda over the weekend.

Unconfirmed but very reliable sources say that the man from the Marriage Quarters of Jahunda Township was killed by fellow Johane Masowe congregants over a leadership dispute of the cult.

Scratchy information coming through from sources that want to remain anonymous is that the man only identified as SekaSimba was tied hands and feet and thrown into a yet to be identified river or dam in the out skirts of the town.

Reports of the ever splitting Masowe cult and leadership wrangles are nothing new in the cult and violent incidents are always reported from there.

More information on the man's death is still coming through but very close family members have confirmed the death.
