Information minister Jonathan Moyo who is plotting a sensational re-election in Tsholotsho North has been fingered in dirty campaign tricks through forcing church leaders and villagers to attend meetings.
In its latest report, the Zimbabwe Peace Project (ZPP) said Moyo's campaigns spearheaded by the so called G40 are holding door to door campaigns.
"Zanu PF distributed maize on partisan grounds under Chief Matupula. Soon after his vote buying meeting he encouraged villagers to go and check the voters roll.
"Zanu PF is conducting door to door campaigns 2 to 3 times a week. The G40 is reported to be running all campaigns. On 6 May 2015 Zanu PF distributed maize to people in chief Matupula's area.
"Moyo was seen moving around ward 8 campaign on the following day village heads in ward 3 -6 where summoned to attend the meeting," said ZPP.
Moyo is battling it out with independatwes candidates Busani Ncube and Getrude Sibanda.
