Church leaders to be briefed on political developments

PASTORS based in Bulawayo are due to be updated on key political developments currently taking place in the country.
A series of meetings have been lined with the first set for Thursday and are aimed at providing them an opportunity 'to influence the direction of the national politics in light of current developments'.
Dr Godern Moyo, Secretary General of People's Democratic Party is billed as the main speaker.
Said the organisers in a statement, "Shalom Project, a Faith Based Network of Church leaders, working towards the goal of a Peaceful and prosperous Zimbabwe through Faith Based Advocacy, peace building leadership and community development invites you to Political Parties leaders engagement series.
"The series of meetings with senior leaders of political parties begins this Thursday the 24th of September 2015 at Advocates Chambers, Bulawayo Public Library from 11.00-13.00 hrs.
"The series of meetings seek help church leaders understand the latest developments in Zimbabwe's political arena and provide opportunities for them to influence the direction of the national politics in light of current developments."
