TODAY'S WORD
Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
From the Creator's word, we find fresh water that quenches all our thirsty, words of assurance that satisfies the soul and rejuvenate lost hope. For His words are true and just, his ways are pure and high. His promises are true, his mercies are new every morning. We have in the last heard promises of powerful man, politicians, lawyers and scientists. But many have left us in despair and miserable. There is no better man but God.
He has said and that He will do. Talk about the promises God has made to his children. That very promise He will fulfil. Talk about the second coming, and a lot other blessings and promises. And that, he will make good. In creation we find this theme of goodness, only God can restore things into their original taste.
One more thing to note; God does not change. Yes He doesn't but therefore, you sons of Jacob are not consumed. Hebrews says Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Let's learn to be consistent as our Father is consistent, faithful to the word. His words, His commandments and status change not.
If you are willing and obedient you will eat the good of the land.
