Eddy Cross's unhygienic article! - Leave the Ndebele people alone!

02 Oct 2017 at 08:15hrs | Views
Otherwise a much respected man in economic fraternity, just by waking up in the morning on the wrong side of his bed, he can utter nonsense, rubbish! Not long ago this Eddy Cross shocked us when he went overdrive in bootlicking Tsvangirai, calling him: "U Tsvangirai yi Nkosi yami! That was uttered in isiNdebele, a language from Mathebeleland, one of the constituencies that have consistently given him the VOICE AND PLACE to ever GET A SEAT AND enter Zimbabwe parliament.

Eddy Cross will stop at nothing in urinating the peoples of Mathebeleland! You are in parliament today because of Mathebeleland vote: why abuse the hand that feeds you! You have enjoyed national and international stages because of the parliamentary seat you got from Mathebeleland and you now have the audacity to insult us. Nobody in Mashonaland would have given you a vote. What makes you think you can split us, insult us, and urinate at the whole peoples of the region who made you a millionaire for that matter!

We cannot take it anymore to be insulted unprovoked. If there is jambanja in almost all opposition parties, it does not become tribal if the issues raised are politicians from Mathebele region; what makes this man born and bred in Mathebeleland, educated in Rhodesia think he has the right to insult the whole peoples of this region. Who does not know you are singing for your supper? Who does not know you are seeking relevance in a very disturbing political climate we have today 10 months away from the Election Day. Who are you trying to please? There are many forms in which you can please iNkosi yakho u Tsvangirai but not at our expense, not at the expense of the peoples of Mathebeleland. We have had enough of the insults from Grace Mugabe, Mugabe and some elements in the opposition politics, you are sure rubbing salt to the injured. Then stop it mtomdala and learn to target most pertinent issues in our country: one of them is democratic values and principles that are missing and seriously found wanting in Zimbabwe!

All the disturbances in MDC-T we read about, some of which can be criminal, you have never uttered a word, we do not have any of your articles critiquing very serious and criminal issues bedevilling your political party internally, but you find it very easy to pick a pen and insult Ndebele unprovoked.  VP Thokozani Khuphe was bashed by a gang of thugs that came from Harare sent by Tsvangirai, the President himself to deal with Khuphe once and for all: did we read any of your articles at least giving your own version about the whole Indaba? You know the reason why you kept silent about those criminal acts. Are the peoples and politicians in this region expected to be submissive to obvious tribal marginalization taking place in this region?

That history of colonisers you have just summarised in your article, who later colonised Zimbabwe is the one who brought this chaos we have in Zimbabwe today: somehow you think since you are white, your pen carries a lot of weight. You really think the Ndebele peoples are less and of a lesser God, must be put in line. You still think you are above the narrow confines of tribal divisions in our country: in retrospect you are the most divisive element in our political landscape. You can play know- it-all long enough but never insult the hand that feeds you. Your vote comes from this region you are now insulting at your leisure, you think your pen carries weight because it is white and not black!! That inherent white-supremacy makes you think you are different from all of us even today in 2017!

It is also very surprising to know that you can never critique and criticize VP Emmerson Mnangagwa or Professor Jonathan Moyo. Can we have your say about Lacoste – G40 scenarios at play in polit-buro meetings? Why not give us your piece about the document; blue-ocean, that Jonathan Moyo and presented in Polit-Büro pitting Mnangagwa to political decimation!  We have your article, in retrospect that was actually endorsing Mnangagwa as the better option of a future president. That article: Eddy Cross warming up to the realities that VP Mnangagwa could be future President of Zimbabwe. (Panyama yehuku yava Mnangagwa ndivewo piece imwe) You know what it means to criticize those two Zanu people: you are terribly, farting scared of them, but not the Ndebele peoples. Test of strength is not shown on insulting the most vulnerable and marginalized peoples; you would rather test your strength in fighting Zanu PF successfully. Dwelling on Ndebele peoples is a way to vent your failures that should be targeted to Zanu and not to marginalized niches.

Why not take up the issue about Tsvangirai who is a replicate of Mugabe, does not want to resign with all signs showing he is very unwell. What democracy can you preach on us if you are incapable of "chinja maitiro, maitiro chinja: guqula izenzo, izenzo guqula" in your own party. There is no democracy in that MDC-T party a fact you know but you go on to pick the weakest in the political stage to punch: the Ndebele peoples. Why not your party never to go for 2018 elections tell: your resolution you made immediately after the landslide defeat of 2013 election? What has changed on the ground to think you can win election through the ballot box of 2018? Were electoral reforms are now implemented for you to go to the elections? These are the bitterest issues you should engage your party with, to boycott the 2018 election as they are no reforms on the ground. Tell your party not to flip flop with resolutions as they lose credibility every day.

We do not need you politically in Mathebeleland region Mr. Eddy Cross. You are wholly advised to refrain from you unhygienic politics in Zimbabwe because it is self serving. All that is happening in Zimbabwe has to happen. That chaos in the opposition is supposed to be health democracy without labelling us tribalists. This chaos was not, and is not caused by the Ndebele peoples in the region, in retrospect the country is re-defining itself, and we shall find one another: the peoples of Mashonaland and Mathebeleland. At some stage in our lives we shall be able to live together as one nation without the assistance and the divisiveness of Eddy Cross.  Mr. Eddy Cross your article on Bulawayo 24 today carries a package of nonsense! You are otherwise a respected man in economic cycles and stages. It is a fact that if by some chance VP Mnangagwa became President you will jettison MDC-T before the cock crows three times!
