Chamisa has to face the people's court and account for himself

Nelson Chamisa the current MDC Alliance president has to account for himself to the people at the people's court. This is so because in this article I'm going to outline Chamisa's misdemeanors and crimes against the people. It is indeed up to him to exonerate himself before the people.
1. Before the elections upon taking the leadership of the party, Nelson Chamisa demanded electoral reforms before elections were to be held. He threatened to unleash the people to stop the elections if reforms were not done. Unfortunately no reforms were done and the party was plunged into the elections without these necessary reforms. Chamisa need to explain why this happened?
2. During the campaign period, Nelson Chamisa assured people that the rigging machinery of Zanu-PF was well countered. He told the nation that he had all the rigging mechanisms in check. He promised to expose everything irregular and the people believed him. Unfortunately we now clearly see that nothing was done to stop the rigging and he didn't demand for recount of the vote. This is a serious shortcoming on a leader and must stand before the people's court to explain himself on this too.
3. The utterances by Nelson Chamisa that he will retire from politics if Munangagwa wins 5% , must be fulfilled forthwith. As a genuine people centered leader he must be seen to honour his promises. Chamisa went on to say that he would give Munangagwa his sister if he lost the plebiscite by 20%. Although this was discriminatory to females and such kind of utterances could not be tolerated from a leader. Having lost the elections Chamisa failed to honour that promise. Indeed he has to account for his utterances and the people have to decide on his fate.
4. Nelson Chamisa claimed during his press conferences to the whole world that he had won by 56% and that he was the winner. Where did he get those figures from? Why did he not even present such figures to the Constitutional court. The above clearly shows that Nelson Chamisa was not saying the truth to people. He should stand against the people and state why he lied to them. Indeed only the people's court would judge him accordingly.
5. After results were eventually announced, again, Nelson Chamisa held several press conferences telling the nation and the world that he had evidence of the rigging that took place, there was overwhelming evidence in his possession that will be shown in court. He told the nation that there were truck loads of evidence and now noone knows how that evidence was never taken to court.
Once asked about the evidence by a reporter, he replied that it was premature to disclose the information, again it seems it was a lie. Why would he lie so plainly to us the citizenry. It is because of these misdemeanors that this man has to face the people's court now.
6. The nation was informed that there were over 1000 lawyers who had volunteered to take the case to the Con court, that was good news to the suffering citizens of Zimbabwe, there was hope planted in all the people who had voted for him.
Considering all the above, MDC Alliance knew that there was going to be rigging and also that there were no electoral reforms, why now complain something that was known before hand?
What measures were put in place to counter the rigging or what plan was in place to stop or expose it? The answer is NONE.
All the utterances by Nelson Chamisa were lies and he must apologise for misleading the citizenry at the people's court . He gave hope to people knowing very well that it was not true.
The team of lawyers that represented him tried their best, there was no evidence at all,one wonders what people like Welshman Ncube, Tendai Biti, Mwonzora, Coltart Sikala and all the lawyers in MDC Alliance were doing? Where in the world has a case been won without evidence? Going to court to prove fraud without any piece of evidence was foolish and a waste of time. In courts all over the world, once a person is accused of theft, there must be evidence or exhibit, the lack of evidence has seen courts discharging criminals back to society. Every lawyer knows that and this case was no different.
Where did things go wrong? These are the questions he has to give the people at the people's court.
7. At Tsvangirai's funeral, the party split, the constitution was thrown into the dustbin and a coup was done. The party split and caused confusion hence the loss to Zanu-PF. The saying, United we stand and divided we fall, is very true and was ignored. Indeed Chamisa has to exonerate himself at the people's court.
8. The failure to have polling agents in all polling stations allowed rigging to take place unnoticed. That's the reason why noone can tell which polling station's figures were cooked. That is why no one can give a name of any one polling station were results were altered. Without evidence produced, it all remains an opinion and opinions are not admissible in a court of law. This actually contributed to the throwing out of his election application at the Constitutional Court.
9. After the judgement by the Electoral Court, Chamisa accepted the judgement only to refuse it at a later stage. Indeed Chamisa has to account for himself to the people of Zimbabwe whose faith and trust he betrayed.
In light of the above facts Chamisa has to stand before the people and exonerate himself of any wrong doing. It is at the people's court that his fate would be decided. Whether he would be given a second chance or whether he deserves the firing square. The people's movement need to continue moving forward but after all the above questions have been answered at the people's court.
