Chinamasa 'rubbish' Khampepe report condemning 2002 elections and yet Zanu PF still haunted by it!

Chinamasa dismiss the Khampepe report that concluded that the 2002 Zimbabwe elections were not free and fair.
"Having regard to all the circumstances, and in particular the cumulative substantial departures from international standards of free and fair elections found in Zimbabwe during the pre-election period, these elections, in our view, cannot be considered to be free and fair," said the report.
But finance minister Patrick Chinamasa - justice minister at the time of the vote - said the Khampepe report was the product of a racist South African justice system opposed to the seizures of white-owned farms taking place at the time.
"It's rubbish. I'm telling you it's rubbish," Chinamasa told Reuters on the sidelines of an investment conference in South Africa
Yes Minister Chinamasa you would say that wouldn't you! So we now have the 2002 elections that Zanu PF rigged but said they were free and fair. The 2008 elections which all those who came as election monitors said were rigged and Mugabe maintained they were free and fair but grudgingly accepted to form the GNU.
Mugabe went on to rig the 2013 elections too resulting in leading nations like the USA publicly refusing to accept the results, other nations have refrained from commenting but their actions have said it all – Zimbabwe is shunned by the world today as a lawless nation.
One of these fine days, there will be a judiciary inquiry into the 2013 election to establish the full facts of the blatant vote rigging that took place last year. All those found guilty of this treasonous act will be punished.
The nation's failure to act to stop vote rigging in the past has only helped to encourage the same crime to happen again and again. The only sure way to stop any more of this is by taking decisive action against the cheaters now!
The root cause of Zimbabwe's political and economic problems is our failure to hold free, fair and credible elections and thus have a legitimate government donors and investor and local business owners can deal with and trust. By the same token, the only way to end these problems is for the nation to hold free, fair and credible elections and thus finally have a legitimate government.
