A Uganda national Kajjubi Harris - Alex could put on the famous black and white Highlanders t-shirt this season if he makes the grade at the Bulawayo side.

Harris - Alex aged 21 is currently undergoing trials with Bosso which is under a new management.

Highlander's legend Peter Ndlovu is understood to have recommended the Ugandan to Bosso.

"When I was in Uganda early this year Peter called me saying there was need for me to play for Highlanders as that would enhance my chances of moving to South Korea. I realised that I need to play for such a big club to enhance my chances of moving abroad," said Harris- Alex.

Harris- Alex said he heard of Highlanders years back when he was still playing in Tanzania before moving to South Africa.

The dreadlocked Ugandan under 23 national team player says if he makes the grade his aim is to leave a lasting impression to the club.

"All I want is to play football and be remembered by the Highlanders family as a good player," he said.

Apart from football, Harris- Alex is a university drop out as he did not complete his Music â€" Dance Mass Communication degree at University of Cape Town.

Highlanders will this season be under new coach. Zambian Kelvin Kaindu who once played for Highlanders.
