Bulawayo soccer giants, Highlanders Football Club, collected $45 098
through gate takings as a record crowd this season of 13 601 fans paid
their way on Sunday against Caps United.
However, Bosso got a net profit of $14 395.
"Our attendance rose by 68% from the last game against Harare City, our gross went up by 70% and our net by 82%," said club treasurer, Odial Nkomo.
Nkomo said last season against Caps United, only 8 000 fans watched the game saying they are expected more than 20 000 fans against Dynamos.
The Sunday high turnout was a confidence boost to the team.
Highlanders beat visiting Caps United one nil through a Masimba Mambare header to collect maximum points.
