Bosso beat Dynamos 4-3, To Lift Uhuru Cup

Bosso has thrashed Dynamos 4-3 at the 2011 Independence Champions Cup on penalties. The Match had ended 0-0 at full time but Highlanders took the chance on penalties to take the cup home.
Despite the match ending 0-0 after regulation time, it was not a good day for the Harare team as their penalty specialist, Guthrie Zhokinyu missed from the spot 15 minutes into the game.
Buoyed by Dynamos misfortune Highlanders gradually began to take a firm grip on proceedings and created numerous scoring chances but found Arubi a model of composure as he produced a string of fine saves to keep DeMbare in the match.
After a goalless draw in regulation time, the match had to be decided through a penalty shootout.
Innocent Mapuranga stepped up to take Bosso's first penalty which was saved by Arubi before David Kutyauripo thrust Dynmaos into the lead.
Lawson Nkomo then kept Hohlanders in the hunt with a well taken penalty before Farai Vimisayi restored Dynamos advantage.
With DeMbare looking set to win their record 7th Independence Trophy, Guthrie Zhokinyi underline a bad day in office when he watched his spot kick going over the bar once again.
Njabulo Ncube then thrust Highlanders into the lead.
It was left to Dynamos skipper, Desmond Maringwa to keep his teams hopes alive but he missed the target to hand Bosso victory.
The post match celebrations summed up Highlanders memorable victory over Dynamos who had proven n to be their nemesis over the years.
In the third place playoff at Babourfields Stadium in Bulawayo, Gunners beat Motor Action 9-8 on penalties.
