'Bosso under pressure'

CAPS UNITED believe pressure is more on Highlanders than them as the two sides clash in the reverse fixture of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League race at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.
Caps overcame the Bulawayo giants 2-1 at the National Sports Stadium in the capital last week, a result which has raised hope for the Green Machine in their bid to lift the domestic crown for the first time since 2005.
Leonard Fiyado and Dominic Chungwa were the heroes on the day as they scored a goal each with Milton Ncube pulling one back for Highlanders.
The result has left Caps United on sixth position on the league table, trailing leaders Bosso by three points ' quite motivating for a team that finished a disappointing 10th last term.
And Caps assistant coach Saul Chaminuka believes the Harare giants did themselves good when they managed to handle the pressure that comes with playing at home in the first encounter of the season and that it was now a challenge for Highlanders to manage the same pressure.
"This fixture has become just an ordinary fixture for us because we did the job in the first meeting," Chaminuka said.
"We managed to handle the pressure that comes with playing at home when we won in the first leg and now the same pressure is on Highlanders. That was the trick for us. They are playing for a result while we are treating this match like any other.
"It's not a very special match to us. That takes off pressure from us. We are just going out there to play our normal game and I can assure you people will see the best from us on Sunday."
Despite topping the table with 29 points at the halfway stage of the campaign, Highlanders have dipped in form, losing their last three matches to Chicken Inn, Caps and FC Platinum who booted them out of the BancABC Sup8r Cup.
And Zambian coach Kelvin Kaindu is aware of the sound of knives being sharpened.
He faces a huge challenge to halt the poor run to inspire confidence in the success-starved Bosso followers.
But the Zambian has refused to press the panic button insisting the three successive defeats were normal and that they would rediscover the winning formula.
"It has been a difficult spell for us and everyone is disappointed, but it's normal in football. What is needed at the moment is for the team to remain united. We need to have character and look for ways we can stop the losing streak," Kaindu said.
Caps travel to Bulawayo without striker Tawanda "Finger" Nyamandwe who is suspended, with left back Ronald Pfumbidzai also doubtful as he has a thigh injury, while Highlanders will be without the duo of defender Dumisani Ndlovu and Peter "Rio" Moyo.
