EXCLUSIVE: Pasuwa to quit Warriors set-up?

With exactly 34 days before Afcon tournament begins another new scandal is unfolding inside the Warriors technical department, DeMbare DotComs reported.

It all began in yesterday's meeting when Kallisto Pasuwa was shocked to hear suggestions that his loyal assistants in Soul Chaminuka and Mkhuphali Masuku were UNQUALIFIED to go to Gabon as the militant committee clearly positions its own people to travel with Pasuwa.

High performance committee (HPC) that is comprised of the likes of Taurai Mangwiro, Sunday Chidzambwa, Rahman Gumbo, Moses Chunga, Innocent Chogugudza and Omega Sibanda - said that Saul Chaminuka was unqualified as he is coaching a Division 1 side in Swaziland and Mkhupali Masuku had a "mere" UEFA B licence and therefore deserved to watch Afcon from television at a bar in Mbare or the city centre.

Now, DeMbare DotComs alleges that it is now reliably informed that an unhappy Pasuwa has made it clear he will RESIGN from the highest coaching post in the land should he be made to go to Afcon without his trusted two lieutenants.

A reliable informant close to the unfolding scandal say Chunga who is part of the HPC was vocal in the dismissal of Masuku. The source say Chunga feels betrayed by Masuku following Bambo's unceremonious departure at Harare City FC earlier this week.

DeMbare Dotcoms claims that the technical team might be in for a shakeup that is likely to destabilise the team ahead of a difficult Gabon campaign which is barely over a month away.

Pasuwa is now waiting to see who will be imposed upon his technical department by HPC before he decides on his future.
With Zifa president Chiyangwa having said "Pasuwa Magetsi" three day ago we wait to see how he reacts to this episode.
