Five nations are set to represent continental Africa for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Two series of games remain for the second round, with ten of the group winners set to reach the third for sports betting. A draw will determine the two-legged ties taking place in the third round, with the winning teams qualifying for the big tournament. So far, the two countries that have already qualified for the third round include Senegal and Morocco.
Group A
Burkina Faso and Algeria lead Group A by ten points, but the latter hold a significant edge in goal difference. Les Etalons have never had a better opportunity of securing a World Cup position, yet they must perform more effectively than Les Verts, who frightened Germany in 2014 during the Round of 16.
Algeria is composed of many of the best players in the five big leagues of Europe. Although Burkina Faso don't, their secret weapon includes Abdoul Tapsoba, the 20-year-old who managed to secure 4 goals in the past 3 internationals, including the recent equalizer match against Algeria.
Group B
Tunisia and Equatorial Guinea are the main contenders in Group B, with Fashion Sakala, Zambia, and Patson Daka each requiring miracles to progress. Despite the fact that Tunisia is about 8 points in the lead by comparison to Equatorial Guinea, they are still facing two more examining games. Nonetheless, they remain undefeated in their past 12 qualifiers and have kept a clean record in the past 5 alone.
Group C
It could be argued that Africa's finest attack can be observed by the Super Eagles players of Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Iheanacho. Yet, there is significant work to be done before reaching the final round. Admirable strides have been made in the past 10 years to reach the World Cup on behalf of Carbo Verde, but their early loss to Nigeria, the leading team, hurt them earlier this time.
Group D
Both the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and the Elephants of Côte d'Ivoire have partaken in many exciting battles as the years passed. If both avoid upsets in their November assignments, there will be an ultimate showdown to be watched from Douala.
Group E
Not even with the aid of Kanoute, Diarra, and Keita did the Malians have a greater hope of reaching the World Cup. Conceding 5 goals in the last 15 competitions, they field the likes of Ibrahima Kone, an individual that managed to score 7 times in five different international championships.
Group F
Gabon and Libya should be quite thankful that Angola managed to defeat Egypt for the very first time. A win in Luanda will send both the Pharaohs and the Mo Salah through.
Group G
When the pool began, the Black Stars were the fan favorites, and yet it's now Bafana Bafana that holds the edge. Ronwen Williams has proven an infallible goalkeeper for the side of Hugo Broos. Ghana has immense striking power with Thomas Partey.
