Highlanders Humiliated Again in 'Fourrare'

Highlanders' woes continued with an embarrassing 3-0 defeat by Harare City at Rufaro on Sunday, to reel out of the Chibuku Super Cup at the semi-final stage.
Francisco Zekumbawire, William Manondo and the speedy Martin Vengesai condemned Bosso to a fourth straight loss in all competitions.
City will now meet in the final FC Platinum who edged Black Rhinos 1-0 24 hours earlier.
Throwing away a chance to extend their dominance in this Cup which is Zimbabwe's oldest knockout competition, Highlanders will for now remain with five Chibuku Cups.
The Bulawayo giants have now conceded seven goals in two matches without reply and this was their second loss to City within a month.
They started Sunday's afternoon on a promising note with City defender Munyaradzi Diro-Nyenye blocking a Charles Sibanda effort six minutes into the match, after some nice exchanges with Rahman Kutsanzira, Simba Sithole and defender Bruce Kangwa who was unusually playing as a striker.
Sithole closely missed target a few minutes later, before Kangwa had his shot tipped over the bar by City goalkeeper Maxwell Nyamupangedengu. City's first realistic chance came on 20 minutes with Timire Mamvura failing to finish a fine build-up and the defender was again a culprit by failing to beat Highlanders goalkeeper Ariel Sibanda seven minutes later.
Sibanda was again on hand to deny David Kutyauripo's headed effort. Right at the death of the first half, Zekumbawire broke the impasse with a cool finish that was aided in by the upright post. A City counter attack saw substitute Manondo doubling their advantage before Vengesai killed the match as a contest with an injury time strike.
Fans on the terraces who were predominantly Dynamos supporters enjoyed the whole afternoon as they cheered Harare City to score four goals against Highlanders calling Harare "Fourare". Highlanders' last two trips to Harare have seen the Bulawayo giants going back home bashed by four goal in each match.
Bosso was first clobbered by 4 goals to 1 by Dynamos in the TM Hyper Cup Final before being thrashed again on their next trip by another Harare giant CAPS United 4 - 0 in a league match.
