South Africa's Under 23 soccer team arrived today (Friday) in the country for a crunch African Youth Championships qualifier against Zimbabwe.
Amaglugug are now in town after touching down at the Harare International Airport at midday on Friday.
Amaglugug, who spent the past two weeks in camp preparing for Sunday's showdown, are hoping for favourable fortunes when they clash with Zimbabwe's Young Warriors at Rufaro stadium this Sunday.
South Africa will be without Bidvest Wits players Phumulani Ntshangase, Tebogo Moerane, Abedinigo Mosiathlaga as well as Menzi Masuku and Gift Motupa but Amaglugug head coach Owen Dagama says his squad is still strong.
South Africa held an afternoon training session and are expected to train at the match venue on Saturday.
Zimbabwe and South Africa who have a long lasting rivalry will clash on Sunday with a place at the African Youth Championships at stake.
