Unity Day! is it for the people or just Zanu-PF?

On December 22, 1987, Zanu-PF and PF Zapu, the two main parties in Zimbabwe at the time, signed the historic Unity Accord.

Question is: does the Unity Day still have meaning to the people of Zimbabwe?
