If a subscriber who is registered to the service continues to browse or use their mobile internet after the 5am and before 11pm will be billed at the normal rate.

"As part of our brand promise to offer affordable, quality mobile telephony services to Zimbabweans, Telecel has yet again introduced an affordable mobile data product which will give our customers  the ability to upload and download pictures, stream videos, download music and other social media related activities at high speeds. This product will be of particular interest to scholars who want to do online research," said Mrs Angeline Vere.

Telecel's CEO, Angeline Vere, said the company has embarked on technology upgrades which allow the company to introduce even more innovative data related services for the enjoyment of their customers who will have an improved user experience.

"As part of the plan we announced in May, we have started to install LTE equipment in Harare, Bulawayo, Gweru and Mutare. This phase will be immediately followed by a country-wide deployment of this 4G technology," said Telecel's CEO.

"In addition to the LTE, Telecel will also be upgrading current sites as well as rolling out new 3G sites across the country," added Vere.
