Cops rush into police station shouting for a gun

HARARE - There was an action packed film at Machipisa police station in Highfield Harare this morning (Wednesday) when a Chitungwiza bound commuter omnibus driver refused to stop at a police road block.

It is alleged a kombi plying   Makoni- Machipisa route had been stopped by four police officers manning a road block just a few metres from their police station.

The Kombi refused to stop prompting a female officer to strike the windscreen at the same time allowing another cop identified as constable Mapfumo to throw a spike.

When Bulawayo24.com arrived on the scene three furious kombi operators disembarked armed with stones and started attacking the cops who rushed into the police station shouting for a gun to be brought to them.

After noticing their victory the kombi operators made a U turn to Machipisa rank and the overpowered cops took a loaded riffle before chasing after the violent kombi operators.
