A political commentator Antony Taruvinga has said President Robert Mugabe will be outright defeated by the opposition in the 2018 elections as people can no longer stomach the continued suffering under his brutal rule.
The nation will hold general elections in 2018 and the ruling Zanu PF has since endorsed Mugabe as its sole candidate for presidency despite concerns that he was too old and has health [problems which means he is no longer fit to rule.
"On or before 2018 election day, Mugabe will be history. We can not continue to be prisoners in our own country of birth while a 92 year old, sick ancestor continues to unnecessarily gobble our God given resources in foreign lands. Never! Mugabe's time is up! No more of the same old nonsense," Taruvinga said.
