Youths loot goods from shops

Heal Zimbabwe Trust has reported that the ruling Zanu PF youthS in Midlands - Mvuma Ward 13 recently allegedly stormed a local supermarket and looted goods from it in their way  from Masvingo interface rally with President Robert Mugabe.

"Zanu PF youth looted food items from a local Spar supermarket on their way home from the Masvingo Interface rally at Mvuma on Friday 30 June 2017 in ward 13.They assaulted the guard and took away food items. The youth were heard shouting that they were hungry," said the trust.

"The incident was reported at the police but no arrests were made."

The trust said in Mashonaland West- Chegutu East Ward 20 War veteran Shepherd Vangani and Councillor Gibson Mungati threatened community
members with violence and eviction if they fail to vote for Zanu PF in the upcoming elections.

This took place during a meeting at the ward centre.

In Mashonaland West-Muzvezve Ward 15- Zanu PF District Chairperson Taruvinga Dandira allegedly distributed food aid from the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare to Zanu PF supporters only.

"Dandira highlighted that opposition supporters were not going to benefit until they defect to Zanu PF. This took place  at Doneni business centre in ward 15," said the trust.
