Guruve man run over by 'Space Shuttle'

A 29-year-old drunk man from Guruve was allegedly run over by a Harare bound Space Shuttle bus at the 80 km peg along Kanyemba Mvurwi highway this morning.
Eye witnesses allege the bus registered AEG 1511 ran over a male adult who was lying motionless in tar around 02:00hours.
"The deceased was asleep in the tar under the influence of alcohol, hence the driver failed to see him in time resulting in his death," said the source.
Although Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe could not be reached for comment sources within the police force confirmed.
"The accident happened around 02:00 hours and the place is now a black spot following a series of fatalities , we have recorded three cases on the same spot this year," said the source.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been carried to Guruve hospital for postmortem.
