Zanu PF was defeated with resources at its disposal - Ruhanya

Political commentator Pedzisai Ruhanya has said Emmerson Mnangagwa was defeated with all the resources, which were at his disposal an indication that MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa managed to convince people to vote for him.
"At every level in this election; ideas, methods, persuasion, narratives, Zanu PF was defeated bar state resources/patronage and coercion. The hegemonic battle of manufacturing consent was won by Chamisa and other democratic forces. ZANU PF is there through coercion, patronage and chicanery," he said.
"Thank you to all Zimbos for one of the greatest fights of our time against an unpopular competitive authoritarian regime. Peace be upon our beloved Zim. I am back to Joza to manufacture more ideas!"
This come after Zimbabwe Electoral Commission announced Mnangagwa as a winner the results being disputed by the MDC Alliance.
