Mthwakazi activist Hloniphani Ncube has said with the Bulawayo City Council now in the hands of foreigners the residents are now exposed to outbreak of cholera like is happening in Harare.
"With our council now in the hands of foreigners it was apparent to be hit by Cholera. Now that our land has been invaded with this water borne disease, I urge my fellow citizens in Bulawayo to exercise high standards of hygiene," he said.
"So far, Cholera has claimed 28 people from our neighbours and the state media has reported that cases of the disease has been dictated in our land.
"Can we spread the message to all Mthwakazians to boil tap water before drinking. Fruits must be cleaned before consumption. I know Bulawayo is a smart capital city of Mthwakazi and it has smart people who survived gukurahundi and we will beat Cholera."
