Peter Ndlovu turns 46

Former Warriors captain Peter Ndlovu turned 46 today, a milestone worth celebrating for the Zimbabwean football legend who in the history of football is remembered as first African player to feature in the English Premier Soccer League (EPL) in August 1992.
When Zimbabwean football legends are mentioned, names like Shingi Kawondera, Kaitano Tembo, Tinashe Nengomasha, Benjani Maruwaru are on everyone's lips but can never be complete without the name Peter Ndlovu being mentioned.
Ndlovu who turned 46 today has created a lot of memories for football fascinates as he is not only a Zimbabwean star but a global darling having been the first African to play in the EPL turning out for Coventry City Football Club.
It is undisputed the song 'Go Warriors Go' almost become a national anthem in 2006 when Zimbabwe did wonders at the AFCON games in Egypt and Ndlovu's contribution to the success can never be underrated.
The former Zimbabwe captain made 100 appearances for the Warriors and scored a total of 39 goals for the country.
He also played for various clubs which include Sheffield United, Mamelodi Sundowns, Birmingham City, Huddersfield Town, Thanda Royal Zulu, Highfield United and Highlanders.
Ndlovu is currently South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns team manager.
