Bed fight spills to court

They say sharing is caring but that's not the case for a Pumula South woman who decided to drag her brother to court following his habit of sleeping on her bed with his numerous girlfriends without her approval.
Thandiwe Sibanda made it clear that she does not want Vusumuzi Sibanda to sleep on her bed as this annoys her.
"My brother is disrespectful as he sleeps on my bed every time that I won't be around. What makes it worse is that he usually steals my bed sheets and brings his girlfriends to sleep with them on my bed. I'm tired of him doing this," said Thandiwe.
The stressed woman pleaded with the magistrate to grant a protection order as she said Vusumuzi's behaviour was robbing her of her peace. She also revealed that her brother was a thief and was also inconsiderate.
"He once stole my phone and when I asked him about it he insulted me using vulgar language. In December 2018 he stole my jeans, tracksuits and he also ill treats my dog. I pray that the court stops him from stealing my things, ill-treating my dog and entering my bedroom," said Thandiwe.
Western Commonage magistrate Stephen Ndlovu granted an interim order.
