Finally, government has scratched wearing of masks in public following a drop of Covid cases in the past months.
Speaking at a post cabinet briefing on Tuesday, the minister of Information and Publicity, cde Monica Mustwanga said wearing of masks was now only mandatory in indoor areas.
"Those who have been fully vaccinated are no longer mandated to wear masks in outdoor public. They have to carry their vaccination cards as evidence. In door public areas like indoor concerts etc, masks are mandatory", said the minister.
Zimbabwe was one of the few countries that still maintained strict Covid 19 regulations albeit very low cases being recorded.
