Mnangagwa donates over two tonnes of rice to Bulawayo care homes

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has brought early Christmas cheer to vulnerable members of the Bulawayo community, donating over two tonnes of rice to 20 care homes in the city.
The donation, handed over by Bulawayo Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Hon. Judith Ncube, included 100-kilogram bags of rice for each beneficiary institution. These included Luveve School of Training, Percy Iboston, St Francis, Sandra Jones, and other homes that care for children and the elderly.
The gesture has been warmly received by the beneficiaries, who expressed gratitude for the support ahead of the festive season.
"This timely donation will ensure that the elderly in our care can enjoy a special Christmas," said one recipient.
Another representative noted, "Our children will be delighted. Christmas is all about joy and good food, and this will certainly make the season brighter for them."
Hon. Ncube praised President Mnangagwa for his leadership and dedication to uplifting vulnerable communities.
"We are deeply grateful to His Excellency for this thoughtful gesture, which demonstrates his commitment to improving the lives of the underprivileged," she said.
