South Africa's festive season road deaths over 500 lives, so far

More than 500 people have died on South African roads since the start of the festive season.

This weekend, as holidaymakers head to holiday destinations, officers are ensuring commuters are safe.

Deputy Transport Minister Mkhuleko Hlengwa is urging road users to practice caution and obey the rules.
