Former Secretary for administration in the Zanu PF Didymas Mutasa has been hailed for being brave to take President Robert Mugabe on despite the risk associated with his actions considering the fact that the veteran leader is know for victimising anyone who challenge him since before independence in 1980.
Mutasa lost his Zanu PF and government position after he openly aligned himself with the former Vice President Joice Mujuru who was accused of plotting to oust president Mugabe through assassination.
Mujuru was also the victim of the purge as she was fired from both the party and government following the revelations.
Chalton Hwende said, "Mutasa of the People First at 80 we must all salute his courage to take Mugabe head on and it's clear that it has also come at a great personal cost to him."
Mutasa has not been silent since he was ousted as he attacks Zanu PF and Mugabe left right and centre for destroying the party through allowing weevils to take charge of it.
