Fear grips ZimPF member

A prominent comedian in Mvurwi Courage Muropa aka Kamudhoma of Matumbu dramas is now leaving in fear after playing Mbare Chimurenga choir songs that praise his interim president Joice Mujuru in his barber shop.
It is alleged Muropa was playing the Chimurenga songs at his shop when his boss in drama Lloyd Jack aka Matumbu came to threaten him to stop or be victimised by ZANU PF militia.
Matumbu who is a ZANU PF cadre mobilized some of his senior officials at the OMOs which are a mall in Mvurwi to caution Kamudhoma.
Upon sensing the danger Kamudhoma fled from his shop into a near by bush for the better hours of Thursday 8 September 11, 2016.
When contacted for comment kamudhoma said he escaped for his dear life as Mvurwi area is ZANUFIED hence he could not stand the intimidation of ZANU PF militia that is Matumbu,Tirivafi Gwaze and Action Mubaiwa.
"When Matumbu came to my shop ordering me to stop the music l was shocked and when l was still pondering about the matter l saw him coming with Mubaiwa and Gwaze, fear gripped me and l begged for forgiveness.
After they left my shop l did not know their next move so l ran and spent the whole day in the bush. I am now living in fear since the majority in this town or even on our work place are ZANU PF members," lamented Kamudhoma.
However Matumbu dismissed the intimidation saying he was just warning Kamudhoma as they are in the theatre together
"Please my brother do not publish this, ndozonzi ndapandukira musangano it is not a serious matter was just warning my brother that mai Mujuru is no longer in ZANU so it is no longer significant but he rushed to the media we discussed the issue with Mubaiwa and Gwaze, "said Matumbu.
Gwaze referred all questions to Mubaiwa who was not available up to the time of this print.
Meanwhile, Zim rights representative and mobilised in Mvurwi area Evance Matola castigated all forms of political intimidation or harassment as enshrined in section 67 political rights of the new constitution.
"At Zim rights we do not tolerate any form of human intimidation or harassment ,people should exercise their political rights as enshrined by section 67 of the new constitution rather they should report to the police and we do the documentation which is sent to parliament.in case of victimisation our legal team intervenes," said Matola.
Cases of political intimidation in Mvurwi are on the increase as election mood grabs parties hence Zim PF members are still under cover as they cannot predict their future in the race yet.
