The Mugabe/Mnangangwa battle is overdue and attractive to international politics: Is it in the National Interest Though?

"1 - Remember, O Lord, what is come upon us: consider and behold our reproach. 2 - Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens. 3 - We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as windows. 4 - We have drunken our water for money, our wood is sold to us. 5 - Our necks are under persecution: we labour, and have no rest" (Lamentations 5: 1-5: AKJV)
In 2008 Zimbabwe nationals found themselves beset with a Government of National Unity (GNU) concept imposed on them from the international political platform than from the national or regional political arena. GNU was not in the national interest for as long as the forces that brought it about were not prepared to supervise the honest completion of a voter's role. The undue influence and brutality of the military, the secret services and the police force, no doubt have and continue to contribute to the rigging of electoral results by the Zanu government of both Messer's Mnanganwa and Mugabe.
The plight of the slave politics on the masses masterminded by the African leadership on the continent quizzically attracts no questions from either the United Nations (UN) or the African Union (AU) headquarters. This is not coincidental. There is blindness to some political issues by world forums to which only God addresses through his book the bible. There are, for example, no questions asked by either the Secretariat or the leadership of the Southern African Development Committee (SADC) or from the African Union (AU) offices on the none-partisan of the civil service in Zimbabwe.
It is common sense that Zimbabwe civil servants are encouraged from the Zanu politiburo to be political activists in order that they execute policies from the liberation struggles fought by Zanu party against colonial oppression. The iron of such poor justice is that Zapu the complimentary partner in the liberation struggle have civil servants whose political affiliations are not preferred if they have to retain their civil service office. The duplicity of Zanu is the source of criminal behaviour that has sustained the Zanu government in power to this date.
The cumulative effect of poor governance processes indoctrinated into the thinking of people and more so into the so called politicians, ridicules the spirit on the advocacy on impartiality as a tool for fair play in governance and execution of social justice. The subsequent culture born out of the laizez fair attitude over the tenets of natural justice by Zanu cadres in the positions of permanent secretaries, drives the country policies to be anti-masses even though rhetorically Zanu has more slogans than best management practices on appeasement of the ordinary peasants and workers in the country.
No doubt Emmerson Mnangagwa is the chief architecture to all the Machiavellian politics Robert Mugabe has come to adopt and practice as both his private and personal secretary from the liberation struggle days right up to being Minister after independence date of 18 April 1980. The notoriety of a systematic consistency in Mr. Mugabe and Mnangangwa relationship is more than that of a son and father viewed in the context of what they accomplished together. It has to be noted though that Mr. Mnangagwa's relationship with both the security forces chiefs and their subsequent retirement in previous years has an implicit approval, if not recommendations, of Emmerson Mnangagwa.
It is this dynamics of Mr. Mugabe and Mr. Mnangagwa that Grace as an outsider of average intelligence has come to admire and ambitiously sought to mastermind to her benefit with dismal failure. The empty vitriol at political rallies by Grace Mugabe and her direct attempt at dislodging off pockets of political power that surrounds Mugabe in clandestine succession contesting for the leadership of Zanu political party and power; must be acknowledged to have been closer to Emmerson Mnangagwa than anyone else from independence until during the 2017 shaking on Zanu through witch-hunting and gossip that has yielded little dividends this far except as a scary scam to opposition politics.
Willy-nilly, Mr Emmerson Mnangagwa's competent handling of the military merging in the early years of Zanu rising and the party strategic displacement of those who made a political nonsense in the Zanu Party has received acknowledgement and reward to Mnangagwa from Mr. Mugabe. By even working on a scheme on the mysterious death of the then supposedly untouchable General Solomon Mujuru, point to strong evidence that Mr. Mugabe and Mr. Mnangagwa are a system that should have been long disabled were Zanu to die a natural death out of her Machiavellian diabolism styles.
Similarly, the interest the international has had in Emmerson Mnangagwa suggests the need to revert to the 'new' Zanu given a face of Machiavellian lawyer who may be the only one to navigate a reconciliatory political amalgamation that may serve the country cruel acrimony from untold suffering for another decade.
Careful review of the politics of Zimbabwe reveals that the hierarchy of the military continue to groom power close to itself to shield a civilian who is paramilitary and competent player in politics and it all points to Emmerson Mnangagwa. It is in no way saying he is indispensable. It is attributing his high sense of survival and weaving into the strength of Zanu power center, which is, savage brutality of the corrupt force under pretext of chimurenga (war of liberation).
Recent events on the 'sickness' of Emmerson Mnangagwa and directives of where he should go for treatment should sound a strong warning of who is the force of authority in Zanu practically, and how he can use it to personal advantage. The last thought of silent elimination of each other in Zanu is a weakness not equivalent to an intelligent method used in the Machiavellian detraction born in the mystery of opponent 'disappearances.'
Politics in Zimbabwe is a smoke screen Zanu has used, but cannot be sustained without adverse effect after 2018. The political water shade for Zimbabwe is in 2018. The current military, police secret agencies are a political force that has played their silent role this far with sad repercussions of poor economic performance and instability that spells a bad political future. People's prayers are as portrayed in the bible verses quoted above from Lamentations. The country is held at ransom. Corruption has contributed to numerous political parties to no avail. A quick grasp of emergency strategic plan for a workable transition is necessary and is an imperative answer and a long term solution to the country's peace.
