The match tickets are already sold out, if you thought you will buy the
ticket at the last minute, sorry try Supersport 7 tonight as the match
will be broadcasted live on that channel.
Zimbabwe's heavyweight boxer, Thamsanqa Dube, and his entourage are in South Africa to dispel any myth about Flo "Black Panther" Simba's greatness.
A sports editor, business types and SA based boxer Elvis Moyo were all huddled up around Dube at yesterday's final weigh in, claiming he would punch Simba to smithereens in tonight's bout at Emperor's Palace.
"I am ready for this fight and I have been training hard," Dube said. "We will see a nice fight tomorrow and I am prepared to go all the way."
His manager/sponsor Davis Mhambi chipped in, saying it would be a torrid time for Simba.
"Tomorrow is going to be a bad day for Simba. We don't care that he lost his last fight or last 100 fights. The man that will be at the end of this man's (Dube) glove will be very sorry. We have seen Flo fight and we are confident. We can guarantee you that Flo is no match," Mhambi said.
"There is a weight difference of about 40kg between the two but Simba insisted that he has a plan of action to handle the weight disadvantage.
"His weight is not really a concern, but in terms of getting punched it is a concern because he is heavier, but it is more of a hindrance. I learned from my fight against Wiseman Dlomo that you have to move against heavier guys because if you stick around you will get hurt," said Simba.
