A 94th minute goal from Aguinaldo handed Recreativo de Libolo a 1-0 win over Esperance de Tunis in their Group B CAF Champions League match at the Estádio Municipal de Calulo on Sunday afternoon.

It was the perfect start for Libolo who were playing in their first ever Champions league group match.

Libolo eliminated Sudanese side Al-Merrikh and Nigeria's Enugu Rangers to reach this stage of the competition for the first time in their history.

With that in mind it was a shock win for the Tunisian side as they defeated the tournament favourites in the form of Esperance,

It was certainly not the most entertaining of matches as chances on goal were few and far between. Both teams crowed the midfield and allowed their opponents little or no time on the ball.

This made for a very frustrating game for both sides as neither could grab a strangle hold of the match.

Instead, it was a game dominated by some sublime defensive performances from both teams as they closed down attackers quickly.

The match looked to be heading for a draw but a surprise goal from Aguinaldo with virtually the last kick of the match to hand Libolo the three points.
