Mushamba trying to help Cosmos to win promotion back to the PSL
Zimbabwean born striker Charlton Mashumba has continued to impress with his rich vein of scoring form in the South African National First Division.
The 22 year old is the second top goal grabber after Philani Bhengu of Thanda Royal Zulu in the National First Division with 13 goals.
Mashumba joined Ezenkosi in 2014 from Blackburn Rovers. His Debut game was against Chippa United where he scored his first goal.
Mashumba is very skillful and strong in the air. He has excellent passing ability, a classy player and aggressive striker. He played for the U17 Zimbabwean National team (5 CAPS) and U20 Zimbabwean National Team (2 CAPS)
The Zimbabwean has been identified as a potential transfer target for Sundowns in their search of players for next season.
Sundowns' scouts are said to be monitoring Mashumba and his progress at Cosmos this season.
In the meantime, the 22-year-old is trying to help Cosmos to win promotion back to the PSL. Ezenkosi are second on the NFD log with 35 points from 18 games.
