William Mugeyi on knife edge, safe for now
01 Nov 2011 at 17:50hrs | Views
South African first Division club Carara Kicks coach William Mugeyi remains in charge at the club for now despite reports to the contrary that have surfaced after the club suffered their sixth defeat of the season this past weekend.
Carara have won just twice in the opening 11 games but are the only team yet to show their coach the middle finger of all the bottom five clubs in the First Division.
Sunday Chidzambwa last week handed his resignation letter after failing to deliver at Black Leopards. United FC, Witbank Spurs, Atlie and Sivutsa Stars have already parted ways with their coaches with just a third of the season gone.
Carara Kicks general manager Motuba Mokoena says Mugeyi remains in charge for now.
The former Zimbabwe international is in his second stint with the Free State club.
